VW T5 - From Panel To Campervan

Cheddar Gorge with my t5 , went to get a few  light trails but there was a total of 3 cars in the hour we were there !

Woohoo ! Saturday morning v5 arrived with motorcaravan on ! sorted  a phone call to person who was sorting it definatley helped .   still lots to do ,but van is getting there now !

Had letter from Dvla saying "send my V5 back as wrong class was entered " so hopefully that means motorcarvan !! ?? i wait for new V5

Waiting for DVLA to Register as motorcaravan .they said outside still looks like Pannel van ! so going for another opinon hope to hear soon !

sending off V5 for change to motorcarvan . took some pictures these are what i'm sending.   picasa album led's from ebay ,well everything off ebay ! shevles needed still need to router edges and cover inside of cupboards table on a hinge still jobs to be done but a little closer .

Getting there cupboards doors to fit ,handles.foam, varnish more photo sunday hope to finish then ! valcromat board £29.00 a sheet   measuring at least 20 times a must ! still need to router finish round cupboards our homemade leccy panel ,wire in rear not conneted to panel don't worry ! leisure battery and charger Next update Sunday the big push !

Frame work for kitchen and bed seat using 2x1                                                                      bed seat almost finished                     doors for cupboards and front of kitchen gonna get some Valchromat and let avon ply cut  to size ,save any wobbly lines !

update got bilko back ! westbury vw said header tank had small splilt on max line ,when temperture went up water escaped ! so fixed Good job ! more pictures tomorrow

Had van 2 months now but been noticing coolant level dropping ,about 200ml over the last 2 months only driven about 500 miles ! taken van to westbury vw , i'll update when i know . have got 2012 vw t5swb 28 sport !as replacement seems to go ok but bit thirsty! like the trip computer,i`ve not got one ,also hate the armrests, seatbelt tangles at one point thought rest was handbrake ! glad i got lwb it small back there . here a picture bilko going well on conversion started frame work for kitchen and seat will update when i get him back !

Portland bill ,did 9 mile walk ,van worked great and blue skies , first of many i hope ,back to work on conversion now ! finish covering panels then kitchen . :)
